Shoura Plenary Meeting at Al Rahma Mosque in Differdange (Gallery)

On Sunday, 4 October 2026, a plenary meeting of the Shoura – the Assembly of the Muslim Community of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg – was held at Al Rahma Mosque in Differdange.

The opening verses of the Holy Qur’an were recited by Hafiz Suad Godušević, the new imam of the AIL mosque. During the meeting, several important organisational and financial matters concerning the continued work and development of the Muslim community in Luxembourg were discussed.

The discussions focused, in particular, on the work of the Waqf Lëtzebuerg Foundation, as well as opportunities for developing projects related to the organisation of Hajj, Umrah and cultural trips. Particular attention was also given to upcoming processes within the communities, strengthening engagement and volunteering in joint activities, as well as improving the internal organisation and functioning of the Shoura.

Participants exchanged their views and proposals in a constructive spirit, with the common objective of further strengthening coordination between the communities, responsible management of joint projects, and the institutions of the Muslim community in Luxembourg.

At the conclusion of the plenary meeting, Al Rahma Mosque, which hosted the gathering, offered dinner to the participants, providing an opportunity to continue the discussions in a fraternal and friendly atmosphere.
