Reception of Mosque Delegations at the New Shoura Headquarters (Gallery)
On December 13 and 14, 2025, the Shoura organized a reception for representatives of mosques at its newly inaugurated headquarters (6, boulevard d’Avranches, L-1160 Luxembourg). Attending the reception as hosts were the Muslim Religious Leader, the president, the secretary general, as well as members of the Shoura; and as guests, the imams, presidents, and members of the mosque boards. The meetings were marked by cordial exchanges, accompanied by the sharing of suggestions, ideas, and guidelines for the next steps in the work.
On the first day, delegations from three mosques were welcomed: the Islamic and Cultural Association Al Rahma (Differdange), the Islamic Center Medina (Wiltz), and the Islamic Center Gazi Isa-beg (Esch-sur-Alzette), at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m.
On the second day, nine delegations took part in the reception: the Islamic Association “Ihsan” (Dudelange), the Islamic and Cultural Center Berat (Esch-sur-Alzette), the Islamic Association of Wiltz (AIWL), the Islamic Center in Luxembourg (Contern), and the Fraternal Muslim Association of Mersch (AFMM), as well as the Islamic Cultural Center of Luxembourg (CCIL) (Mamer), the Islamic Association of Luxembourg (AIL) (Bonnevoie), the Islamic Cultural Center Nordstad (CCINS) (Diekirch), and the Doudhäl Mosque (Esch-sur-Alzette).
The new Shoura headquarters is a waqf intended primarily to serve the Muslim community, as well as the wider community. It includes a meeting room, two offices, and the necessary auxiliary facilities. It has been designed in a style that combines Eastern, Balkan, and Western influences, creating a welcoming, functional space open to the needs of mosques, institutions, and joint projects.
