Announcement of the beginning of the month of Ramadan 1445 Hijri / 2024 in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Praise be to Allah and peace and blessings be upon the Prophet Muhammad.

Taking into consideration both methods to determine the start of fasting, either the observation of the lunar crescent or calculation, we announce that the first day of Ramadan, and thus the first day of fasting, will be Monday, March 11, 2024. The Tarawih prayer will be performed starting from Sunday, March 10, 2024, after the Isha prayer.

We ask Allah to allow us to benefit from this month by performing the acts of worship He has prescribed, and to enable us to welcome Eid with goodness and blessings.
