Following the film on the Alhambra, the Shoura invites you to a new cultural outing: a bus excursion to neighboring France on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
This day will be an opportunity to discover different expressions of Christian architecture and to understand what was being built in our region at the same time as the Alhambra.

Through visits to several emblematic monuments, we will seek to grasp the beliefs, values, and worldview that inspired their builders.

Program of the day:
• 08:00 – Meeting point: Luxembourg, Glacis
• 08:30 – Departure by bus
• 09:30 – Mont-Saint-Martin – Romanesque Church (12th century)
• 10:30 – Departure to Sillegny
• 11:30 – Visit of the frescoes, Saint-Martin Church
• 12:00 – Departure to Metz, CIMG Mosque
• 12:30 – Salat Dohr and lunch
• 14:00 – Visit of Metz Cathedral
• 17:00 – Return to Luxembourg, Glacis
• 18:00 – End of excursion
