Seminar: “Waqf: A Social Enterprise Serving the Community”
We would like to inform you that a seminar titled “Waqf: A Social Enterprise Serving the Community” will be organized by the Waqf. It will take place in the conference room at Kinepolis in Kirchberg on October 12 and 13, 2024. The guest speaker will be Sheikh Dr. Faizal Ahmad Manjoo. This seminar will address the importance of Waqf in our community and ways to improve this noble institution. It is an opportunity to learn and exchange experiences. We encourage you to motivate the members of your mosques to attend.
The objectives of the seminar are as follows:
- Develop strategies to ensure the smooth operation of Islamic associations and Waqf.
- Discover various fundraising techniques.
- Design programs that encourage pooling resources to support volunteer activities.
- Engage with stakeholders to better understand the challenges they face.
The registration fee for this two-day seminar is €120 (including breakfast, lunch, and beverages). This amount also constitutes the minimum required for a tax deduction. Each participant will receive a certificate for tax purposes. Please note that the number of places is limited.
