Central sermon of Eid al-Fitr: “Eid is a day of nobility of the heart” (Gallery)

Dear brothers and sisters, Eid is a day to glorify Allah, a day when our hearts and our tongues recognize His greatness. Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said: saying “Allahu Akbar” is better than this world and everything in it. This day is not an ordinary day, but a gift from Allah after worship, a day that is yours personally, a day for the one who fasted with patience.

Eid is a day of forgiveness, a day of mercy, a day of kindness of the heart, a day of visiting and reconnecting, a day of doing good and caring. It is especially a day for your family, for your wife, for your parents, because this is where the beauty of Eid is most visible. Without this, Eid becomes just a date on the calendar, without soul and without meaning.

So today, glorify Allah, forgive those who wronged you, give even a little, show love, visit those you have neglected, and wish a happy Eid with sincere words and a sincere voice. Let your message be truly yours, let your voice be true, for it is through these small acts that this day comes alive.

When Eid is lived in this way, we can feel a touch of Paradise in this world. We ask Allah to accept our deeds, to forgive us, and to grant us all goodness.
