Announcement of the Beginning of the Month of Ramadan 1446 H / 2025 in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Praise be to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon His Messenger Muhammad ﷺ.

Taking into account both methods for determining the beginning of fasting – namely, the sighting of the new moon and astronomical calculations – we announce that the first day of Ramadan in the year 1446 H, and thus the first day of fasting, will be Saturday, March 1, 2025. The Tarawih prayer will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, after the Isha prayer.

We pray to Allah to allow us to benefit from this blessed month by performing the acts of worship He has prescribed for us and to be able to celebrate the Eid festival in peace and blessings.
