Meeting with the International Champion of Holy Qur’an Recitation at the Shoura Headquarters (Gallery)

On Wednesday, 25 February 2026, at the headquarters of the Shoura – Assembly of the Muslim Community of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, an official reception was organized on the occasion of the visit of the eminent reciter of the Holy Qur’an and world champion of Qur’anic recitation, Sheikh Ezzat al Rashid, who is on an official visit to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg at the invitation of the Islamic and Cultural Association Al Rahma.

The Shoura delegation was led by the President of the Shoura and the Muslim Religous Leader in Luxembourg, accompanied by imams and representatives of Islamic associations in Luxembourg.

During the meeting, a warm welcome was extended to the guest of honor, highlighting the importance of his contribution to preserving and promoting the recitation of the Holy Qur’an at the highest international level. Discussions focused on strengthening Qur’anic education among youth, supporting hifz schools, and developing cooperation between Qur’an reciters and religious institutions in Luxembourg.

The meeting took place in a spirit of fraternity, respect, and shared commitment to serving Qur’anic values within the Muslim community.
