Visit of Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Sada to Luxembourg (Gallery)

Last weekend, Luxembourg welcomed a distinguished professor from Qatar, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Sada.

Professor Al-Sada has an impressive background. He holds a doctorate in Hadith, is a lecturer in Islamic jurisprudence, a professor at the Public Administration Institute in Qatar, and an advisor to the Ministry of Waqfs and Islamic Affairs of Qatar. He is also a member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars as well as the International Union of Ulama. Additionally, he leads numerous seminars in the field of education.

In recognition of his expertise, an official reception was organized in honor of Professor Al-Sada at the headquarters of the Shoura, the Assembly of the Muslim Community of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Sheikh Al-Sada was welcomed by a delegation from the Shoura, led by the religious leader of the Muslims of Luxembourg, Hafiz Hilmija ef. Redžić, and the Vice-President of the Shoura, Muhamed Ćeman. The Sheikh was accompanied by a delegation from the Islamic Center “Gazi Isa-beg” in Esch, headed by Imam Hafiz Zikret ef. Mustafić and the mosque’s president, Vahid Durović.

During this warm meeting, the hosts introduced Sheikh Al-Sada to the Muslim community in Luxembourg, explaining its unique organization and its achievements to date. The Sheikh expressed his satisfaction with what he heard and saw and offered words of encouragement for the continuation of efforts towards the progress of the Muslim community and Luxembourgish society in general.

Sheikh Al-Sada traveled from Qatar at the invitation of the Islamic Center “Gazi Isa-beg,” where a range of activities, mainly with the youth, were planned for the weekend. His visit to the Grand Duchy also included a lecture at the mosque “Le Juste Milieu” in Luxembourg City.
