Traditional Youth Iftar Organized by the Shoura (Gallery)

On February 27, 2026, the traditional youth iftar organized by the Shoura – the Assembly of the Muslim Community of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg – was held at the multipurpose hall of the “Centre islamique Gazi Isa-beg”. The event brought together approximately 120 young representatives from all mosques across Luxembourg.

Before the iftar, a short program was held during which Sufjan Mustafić recited an opening passage from the Qur’an. Afterwards, the Secretary of the Shoura and Head of the Youth Sector, Damir Adrović, welcomed the young attendees and thanked them for their presence. The President of the Shoura, Jasmin Jahić, then addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of such gatherings and the strengthening of bonds among young people.

Hafiz Zikret Mustafić spoke about the importance of friendship and its influence on a person’s life in this world and in the Hereafter, reminding the youth to choose companions who guide them toward goodness and the pleasure of Allah. The Muslim Religious Leader in Luxembourg, Hafiz Hilmija Redžić, spoke about responsibility and the perspective of youth, highlighting that young people are the foundation and the future of every community and society.

At the end of the program, nasheeds were performed by Besar Latifović, the Ramadan guest at the “Centre islamique Gazi Isa-beg”. The youth then shared iftar together in a fraternal and spiritually uplifting Ramadan atmosphere.
