Regular Meeting of the Mufti and Imams – Announcement of Important Events and Activities
On Friday, October 11, 2024, a regular meeting was held between the religious leader and the imams, aimed at improving the work and organization within the community. During this meeting, several key topics related to the organization of religious events, educational activities, and future projects were discussed.
One of the most exciting announcements was the “Art Evening,” which will take place on November 2 and 3 under the patronage of the Shoura, organized by the Mamer Mosque in collaboration with seven other mosques. The program will feature special guests, experts in calligraphy, who will present this art to both children and adults. One of the special guests is the young and talented calligrapher from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Abdulhakk Hadžimejlić.
Furthermore, ideas were approved regarding the organization of a quiz for the Quranic schools (mekteb) on the life of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, as well as regular lectures for the youth in German and French. A lecture program (sohbet) for the elderly, to be held on Thursday evenings during the winter season, was also approved.
In addition, the Youth Camp Seminar was announced, also under the patronage of the Shoura, and organized by the Mamer, AIL, and Al-Rahma mosques. The seminar will include lectures, two nights of accommodation, meals, and certificates, with the participation of Hafiz Nedim Botić and Hafiza Amina Mujela Botić.
All these events highlight the community’s efforts and dedication in organizing meaningful religious and cultural activities for different generations.
