Hundreds of Visitors at the Eid Celebration Organized by the Shoura (Gallery)
On the first day of the weekend, Saturday, June 22, 2024, a traditional Eid celebration took place in the Kockelscheuer park, gathering hundreds of visitors. Despite a rainy start to the day, gatherings around the various stands and activities of the celebration began as early as 11 a.m. The main and most popular attractions were those for children, who enjoyed games and entertainment such as slides and trampolines. The food and drink stands were constantly visited, and the variety of dishes symbolized the diversity of the home regions from which most Muslims in Luxembourg originate.
The participants did not hide their enthusiasm and satisfaction with this successful day, primarily because it was linked to Eid, and secondly because of the impeccable organization. This Eid celebration in Luxembourg takes on a special dimension, making it a day of joy, festivity, and sharing.
