Islamic Quiz Organized by the Shoura: Children Demonstrated Knowledge, Speed, and Team Spirit (Gallery)

On Sunday, June 22, 2025, an Islamic knowledge quiz for children aged 11 to 16 was held at the mosque in Mamer, organized by the Shoura with the support of the Waqf Lëtzebuerg Foundation. The quiz brought together participants from several mosques across Luxembourg, divided into two age groups – Group A (11–13 years) and Group B (14–16 years).

The competition took place in an atmosphere of serious preparation, friendship, and team spirit. The children answered questions about the life of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, as well as the stories of previous prophets. Although the quiz was structured as a competition, the main emphasis was placed on knowledge, teamwork, and mutual respect.

It is particularly noteworthy that the time differences between the top teams were measured in seconds, reflecting an extremely high and balanced level of knowledge. In several instances, a bonus round was used to accurately determine the final ranking.

All participants received symbolic financial rewards as a form of motivation, while the top three teams in each group were awarded special prizes. These rewards were made possible thanks to the support of the Waqf Foundation.

The event concluded with a communal dinner and social gathering, leaving the children, parents, and imams in high spirits.

The organizers extend their heartfelt thanks to all the mosques, parents, imams, and volunteers for their support and dedication, and announce the continuation of such activities aimed at strengthening knowledge, identity, and unity among the youth.
