Representatives of the Shoura at the State Ceremonies on the Occasion of the Change of Throne (Gallery)

In the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, from October 3 to 5, 2025, the “Trounwiessel” – the change of throne – took place: following the abdication of Grand Duke Henri on October 3, his son, H.R.H. Guillaume, took the oath and acceded to the dignity of Grand Duke. The program unfolded through State ceremonies on October 3, a large public program on October 4, and a solemn Te Deum at Notre-Dame Cathedral on October 5.

On the occasion of these celebrations, the delegation of the Shoura – Assembly of the Muslim Community of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg – was composed of the mufti/religious leader, Hafiz Hilmija Redžić, the president, Jasmin Jahić, and the secretary-general of the Shoura.
